How to Place Your Order


New Activation

Establish Individual New Line(s) of Service

  • In the box labeled "Find the Perfect Cell Phone" put a dot in the circle to the left of "Individual" by clicking the circle.
  • Just below the "Find the Perfect Cell phone" box is a "Quick Start" area. Enter your zip code here and click Go!
  • Use the drop down box to select the carrier you want.
  • Select the cell phone model that best fits your needs. You may select several for comparison by checking the boxes and hitting Compare. Once you have selected the cell phone you want, Click the Add To Cart button.
  • Review the available plans that would best fit your needs and click Add To Cart.
  • Now you can add Data, Text & Services to your cell phone plan by clicking Add to Cart.
  • Done? Click Go To Cart to continue.
  • Need accessories? By clicking Add To Cart next to the accessory you want, it will add the accessory to your Shopping Cart.
  • Done? Click Go To Cart to continue.
  • Review your Shopping Cart for accuracy, when you are ready, click Proceed To Checkout!
  • Provide necessary information, (ie: credit card info, address, etc), Click Proceed when completed.
  • Read the order confirmation page and review for inaccuracies.
  • If you are satisfied, click Place Order.
  • Print your receipt for your records.

Establish a New Line of Service and Add To My Existing Account

  • First, Go to Quick Start, type in your Zip Code and hit Go!
  • Below the menu bar click "Add Additional Line(s)".
  • Select one of the three choices:
    1. Add a new user to your family plan
    2. Switch your single plan to a family plan and add more users
    3. Add a new phone and plan to your existing account
  • Choose your carrier from the drop down box under your specified selection.
    1. Add a New User to Your Family Plan
      • You will be prompted to input the number of users currently on your family plan, click Submit to continue.
      • Select a cell phone model that best fits your needs you may select several for comparison by checking the boxes and hitting Compare. Once you have selected the cell phone you want, click Add To Cart.
    2. Switch Your Single Plan to a Family Plan and Add More Users
      • Review the available plans that would best fit your needs and click Add To Cart to continue.
      • Select the cell phone model that best fits your needs. You may select several for comparison by checking the boxes and hitting Compare. Once you have selected the cell phone you want, click Add To Cart.
    3. Add a New Phone and Plan to Your Existing Account
      • Select the cell phone model that best fits your needs. You may select several for comparison by checking the boxes and hitting Compare. Once you have selected the cell phone you want, click Add To Cart.
      • Review the available plans that would best fit your needs and click Add To Cart.
  • Now you can add Data, Text & Services to your cell phone plan by clicking Add to Cart.

Upgrade

Upgrade My Current Cell Phone and Extend My Contract

  • In the box labeled "Find the Perfect Cell Phone" put a dot in the circle to the left of "Upgrade" by clicking the circle.
  • Just below the "Find the Perfect Cell phone" box is a "Quick Start" area. Enter your zip code here and click Go!
  • Using the drop down box select your current carrier.
  • Select the cell phone you want by clicking Add to Cart under "Upgrade Price w/Contract Extension" column.
  • Review the available plans that would best fit your needs and click Add To Cart.
  • Read the Carrier Guidelines, when finished, select "Yes, I qualify" or "No, I don’t qualify" and then click Submit.
  • Now you can add Data, Text & Services to your cell phone plan by clicking Add to Cart.
  • Done? Click Go To Cart to continue.
  • Need accessories? By clicking Add To Cart next to the accessory you want, it will add the accessory to your Shopping Cart.
  • Done? Click Go To Cart to continue.
  • Review your Shopping Cart for accuracy, when you are ready, click Proceed To Checkout!
  • Provide necessary information, (ie: credit card info, address, etc), click Proceed when completed.
  • Read the order confirmation page and review for inaccuracies.
  • If you are satisfied, click Place Order.
  • Print your receipt for your records.

Buy an Accessory

  • Click on "Accessories" on the menu bar.
  • Select your cell phone manufacturer (example: Nokia, Samsung, etc.).
  • Select your cell phone model.
  • By clicking Continue next the accessory you want it will add the accessory to your Shopping Cart.
  • Review your Shopping Cart for accuracy, when you are ready, click Proceed To Checkout!
  • Provide necessary information, (ie: credit card info, address, etc), click Proceed when completed.
  • Read the order confirmation page and review for inaccuracies.
  • If you are satisfied, click Place Order.
  • Print your receipt for your records.

Buy a Pre-Paid Cell Phone

Need some suggestions on which cell phone/plan is right for you?

This page is designed for an existing cell phone user. It helps you quickly find and compare the products or services you are most interested in within the appropriate category. Fill out the questions asked and click on GO! The results will be presented on the right side of your screen suggesting the best wireless packages available that match the criteria you selected. Click on the check boxes next to the products you wish to compare and hit Compare to see a side-by-side comparison of the products you checked. Click the BUY button to temporarily place your selections in the shopping cart.

Are you ready to place your order?

As you click on the Add to Cart button to make your product, service and accessory selections, the quantities and purchase totals are automatically stored in your shopping cart. Items in the shopping cart are ready to be purchased whenever you decide to checkout. Modify the items in your shopping cart at any time by clicking the add or remove buttons or changing quantities. To review the contents of the Shopping Cart, click on the Your Cart or Go to Cart button at the top right of every page. If you elect to postpone your purchase, items will remain stored in your cart for 30 minutes after your last mouse click.

General Shopping Questions

Why do you ask for my Zip Code?

Each geographic area will have a different selection of available cell phones and plans and each wireless carrier has a different selection of compatible phones. Not all cell phones are compatible with all carriers. Therefore, we recommend selecting your wireless carrier first.

Is buying from LetsTalk.com safe?

Yes. Purchase transactions are made via secured servers and are encrypted for your protection. For further information, see the Privacy & Security policies. If you prefer, we also allow our customers to place orders via telephone. To place a phone order, you may contact our Telesales Department at 1-800-980-0936.

How do you calculate sales tax?

We are required by law to ensure that sales tax is collected, if necessary. Every state has its own rules for calculating sales tax. Depending on the State, sales tax may be based on the retail value of the equipment and NOT based on the price you actually paid. For instance, the retail price of the equipment may actually be $300, but we may offer it to you FREE.

Can you tell me more about your pricing?

Our prices are subject to change at any time. Unless specified otherwise, current charges for the order will only include those for the equipment, shipping and sales taxes. Charges for any service plan(s), including one time activation fees, monthly service plan charge and related taxes will be billed separately by the wireless carrier. LetsTalk.com cannot be held responsible for inaccurate service plan description or pricing.

Despite our best efforts to keep pricing information accurate, there may be rare occasions when our pricing is outdated. We reserve the right to update our prices at any time, but will always contact you to confirm any change before you are charged or before products are shipped. We also reserve the right to refuse orders from anyone.

What about my bill?

Products purchased from LetsTalk.com may be fulfilled/billed by LetsTalk.com or one of our valued referral partners. Unless otherwise noted, wireless carriers will bill you directly for the service plan(s) we have initiated on your behalf (their charges would include recurring service plan charges, one time activation fees and related taxes / fees). During your contract period, your wireless carrier will send you monthly statements reflecting your combined connection and airtime usage.

For your reference, your order confirmation and receipt will state both "current charges" and "service charges" by billing party. For questions about your LetsTalk.com bill, please contact Customer Service. If you have questions regarding monthly billing from your wireless carrier, please contact the wireless carrier directly. Refer to our Manufacturer/Carrier page for contact information.

What are my payment options?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, Debit Cards, and American Express. At this time, we are unable to accept checks or money orders. We will require a major credit card when placing your order, even if your order total is $0.

When you place your order, an authorization/hold will be placed on your credit card/debit card. We will only bill against that authorization when the order is shipped. If the order is cancelled, that authorization/hold will be released. Each bank determines when this authorization will be released from your card, ranging from within 24 hours to 7 days. This will help us to verify your identity and protect you from false purchases made with your personal information. If your order total is $0, we will only put a $1 hold on your credit card to make sure it is a valid credit card. The $1 hold on your credit card will be released within a week.

Special note for debit card users: While we do accept debit cards as payment, please be aware that an authorization for funds on your debit card may look like an actual charge at the time the order is placed. If you cancel your order, please be assured that no funds were ever charged to your debit card. However, it may take a few days before the bank releases the authorized funds back to you.
